Over 75 Different Ciders and Beers At Cider & Beer Circus Next Weekend

There might be no better way to say goodbye to summer than with cheese, circus-style entertainment, live music, and all the cider and beer one could ever want. The Third Annual Colorado Cider & Beer Circus is August 25th to 26th at Copper Mountain Resort.

Festivities kick off on Friday night with the Big Top Cheese Pairing, featuring five craft ciders from Stem Ciders, Colorado Cider Company, St. Vrain Cidery, and Gypsy Circus Cider Company paired with artisan cheeses. Led by Certified Cheese Professional Michael Landis, and Erin James, the editor-in-chief of CIDERCRAFT magazine, the tasting promises an opportunity for a personal experience with experts from the cider and cheese industries. Tickets for the Friday night cider and cheese pairing are $25 and include five 5 ounce pours and five cheese samples.

The main event is Saturday, from 2-6 PM – however – festival-goers will have an opportunity to enter the festival an hour early at 1 PM with a First Pour ticket. First Pour tickets will have access to artisan cheese pairings, special tappings, and reduced crowds.

This year’s Colorado Cider & Beer Circus will have over 75 different beers and ciders to choose from, featuring pours from over 25 cider and beer makers. While most breweries and cideries present are from Colorado, the festival also features some out-of-state visitors as well.

The festival also features circus-style entertainment presented by Fractal Tribe. The featured music performance at this year’s event will be The Delta Saints. A five-piece band from Nashville, The Delta Saints are known for their rock-n-roll, blues, and psychedelia hybrid sound.

Tickets for this year’s event cost $35 for the Grand Tasting session or $50 for First Pour tickets. A portion of this year’s Colorado Cider & Beer Circus will benefit Team Summit Colorado, a youth development organization that empowers their athletes to realize and celebrate their “personal podiums” through athletics, education, and life skills by participating in their innovative programming at their world-class venues.
